Noelia currently works at SickKids Hospital on the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Unit, supporting youth requiring crisis stabilization and treatment for eating disorders. She has also worked in inpatient and outpatient programs at North York General Hospital, providing care to young people with complex mental health needs.
Her clinical focus includes supporting youth experiencing suicidality, anxiety, depression, obsessive–compulsive disorder (OCD), and eating disorders. She uses evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) to help young people build coping skills, regulate emotions, and feel more empowered in their daily lives.
In addition to individual therapy, Noelia provides parent coaching, helping caregivers understand their child’s emotional and behavioural needs while strengthening communication, connection, and coping strategies within the family system.
Noelia brings warmth, creativity, and compassion to her work. She values the therapeutic relationship as the foundation for meaningful change and prioritizes creating a space where young people feel safe, heard, and respected. Whether through talk therapy, art-based interventions, or skill-building exercises, Noelia’s youth-centered approach is collaborative, flexible, and tailored to the unique needs of each client.
