Michael B. MacDonald, MA, CAGS, RP

Registered Psychotherapist
Michael B. MacDonald is a Registered Psychotherapist with over two decades of experience providing individual, couple, and family therapy. He supports clients of all ages as they navigate a wide range of emotional, relational, and life challenges. Michael is deeply committed to creating a warm, empathetic, and supportive space where clients feel safe to explore their concerns and work toward meaningful personal growth.

For six years, Michael worked with Canadian military members, veterans, and their families an experience that gave him a profound understanding of the emotional impact of extreme stress, trauma, and high-demand environments. His work is grounded in compassion, respect, and an appreciation for the strength and resilience of the human spirit.

In addition to traditional talk therapy, Michael integrates expressive arts therapy into his practice. This creative approach allows clients to tap into inner resources, access deeper self-awareness, and explore challenges in ways that feel intuitive, expressive, and healing. He holds great respect for the courage it takes to begin therapy and considers it an honour to walk alongside individuals and families on their journeys of self-discovery and change.

Outside of his clinical practice, Michael enjoys spending quality time with his wife and daughter. He finds joy in simple moments whether puttering around the house or exploring the outdoors together.
