Through eight years of clinical practice with children, teens, adults, and families, Jack has developed a strong understanding of the emotional, behavioural, and developmental challenges that young people face. He specializes in experience-based therapies for youth with complex or comorbid mental health diagnoses, including learning disabilities, Autism (ASD), Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD), Oppositional Defiant Disorder (ODD), and Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD).
Jack integrates several evidence-based modalities into his work, including Brief Solution-Focused Therapy (BSFT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), mindfulness-based approaches, and Emotion-Focused Family Therapy (EFFT). His therapeutic style is warm, grounded, and collaborative, supporting clients as they uncover strengths, build resilience, and gain confidence.
Outside of his clinical work, Jack practices mixed martial arts and mindfulness meditation. He has six years of experience as an instructor and has trained with specialized teachers across both military and monastic settings. He is also an avid traveler, a passionate (and proudly imperfect) language learner, and a wildly creative home cook. Jack values emotional vulnerability and strives to model openness and authenticity in both his personal and professional life.
Jack holds a Master of Social Work degree from the University of Toronto.
