Cristina Magan

Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying)
Cristina holds a degree in Education and has several years of teaching experience in both Europe and the United States. She also holds a master's degree in Psychopedagogy, where she worked mainly with middle and high school students facing academic, social, and personal challenges. She collaborated with school teams to support students’ well-being and implemented emotional intelligence programs in classrooms with challenging group dynamics.

Through this work, Cristina became increasingly interested in emotional well-being and how it shapes learning, relationships, and daily life. This led her to pursue training in psychotherapy and expand her practice to include adolescents and adults.

Cristina takes a holistic, compassionate, and collaborative approach to therapy. She values the therapeutic relationship as a key part of the healing process and aims to create a space where clients feel safe, heard, and respected. Her work is informed by Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and mindfulness-based techniques. She supports clients in building on their strengths, increasing self-awareness, and working through life’s difficulties in a meaningful way.

Cristina offers therapy in both English and Spanish, allowing clients to express themselves in the language they feel most comfortable using.
