Brock Cooper, NP-Adult

Nurse Practitioner – Mental Health & Addictions
Brock Cooper is an experienced Nurse Practitioner specializing in mental health and addictions, with over twenty-five years of clinical experience supporting adults across the lifespan. He completed his Master of Nursing in the Acute Care Nurse Practitioner program at the University of Toronto’s Bloomberg Faculty of Nursing in 2010 and has since worked across diverse settings, including hospitals, community mental health programs, long-term care, and healthcare consulting.

As a Nurse Practitioner, Brock is able to provide mental health diagnoses, order and interpret diagnostic tests (including blood work), prescribe medications, and offer supportive counselling and psychotherapy. He uses a holistic, collaborative approach working closely with each person to create an individualized treatment plan that reflects their needs, preferences, and goals while fully respecting their autonomy.

Brock’s practice is grounded in the belief that healing is most effective when clients feel heard, understood, and supported. His calm, compassionate presence helps individuals feel safe and empowered as they navigate mental health challenges and work toward meaningful change.

Outside of his clinical work, Brock enjoys spending quality time with family and friends and loves being with his playful Aussiedoodle, Wynston. He has a passion for the arts and can often be found attending live performances, concerts, and traveling.
