Alex Papaconstantinou, SEP

Somatic Educator & Bodyworker
Alex Papaconstantinou is a Somatic Educator and Bodyworker who specializes in supporting individuals with complex trauma and persistent symptoms that have not fully responded to traditional talk therapy or medical approaches. She focuses on nervous system regulation, helping clients move out of patterns of chronic stress activation, shutdown, pain, or emotional disconnection.

Her approach is gentle, collaborative, and grounded in nervous system science. Through body-based tracking, guided awareness, and when appropriate and with clear consent light hands-on support, Alex helps clients reconnect with safety, stability, and a growing sense of internal capacity.

She commonly supports individuals navigating:
• Complex PTSD and developmental trauma
• Medical trauma, accidents, and injury recovery
• Chronic pain and stress-related physical symptoms
• Digestive and stress-linked concerns
• Attachment and relational trauma
• Burnout, overwhelm, and sleep disruption

Alex is a certified Somatic Experiencing Practitioner (SEP) and has completed advanced training in developmental trauma, including work with leading experts such as Kathy Kain. She also assists in Somatic Experiencing professional trainings and has served as a guest lecturer on trauma-informed somatic care.

Grounded, steady, and deeply attuned, Alex works at a pace that honours the body’s readiness for change. She values collaboration with other healthcare providers and welcomes referrals for clients needing adjunctive nervous system-based support.
