Cathy Sorichetti is an experienced therapist who supports individuals and families as they navigate life’s inevitable challenges, transitions, and emotional stressors. She brings a calm, grounded presence to her work and offers clients a safe, compassionate space to explore their experiences and strengthen their ability to cope and thrive.

Cathy has worked across school, community-based, and hospital settings, and she currently provides virtual therapy to adults. With a trauma-informed, client-centered approach, she helps individuals reconnect with their resilience and innate capacity for healing. Her work is guided by deep respect for each person’s lived experience and the belief that meaningful change is always possible.

Cathy completed her Master of Social Work at the University of Toronto and is registered in good standing with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers. She is certified in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused CBT, Mindfulness-Based CBT, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT).

Her integrative, evidence-based approach allows her to tailor therapy to meet each client’s unique needs and support them in building emotional clarity, resilience, and long-term well-being.
