Lisa specializes in helping students strengthen essential learning and executive functioning skills, develop independence, and reach their full academic potential. She also supports families in understanding the complexities of special education programs, including IEPs, school accommodations, and accessibility services at the college and university levels.
With a patient, compassionate, and trauma-informed approach, Lisa recognizes that every student’s learning journey is shaped by unique strengths and challenges. She works collaboratively to build personalized toolkits that support organization, study skills, emotional regulation, self-advocacy, and confidence. Her goal-oriented, evidence-based coaching empowers students to become resilient, independent learners who can succeed both in and beyond the classroom.
Lisa holds a BA in Psychology and a BEd from York University, and an MEd in Health Professions Education from the University of Ottawa, where her research focused on mental health, trauma-informed education, and executive functioning development in neurodiverse learners.
