Dr. Kirsh is a licensed Clinical Psychologist registered with the College of Psychologists of Ontario. She works with children, adolescents, adults, and families specializing in the areas of anxiety, and depression, and eating disorders. Since 2004, she has held a position at North York General Hospital’s (NYGH) Eating Disorders Program (working with adolescents and adults). She was previously on staff at the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Clinic at NGYH.
Dr. Kirsh completed her Specialized Honours degree in Psychology at York University in 1998. She received her Masters (2000) and PhD (2005) in Clinical Psychology from Western University. Dr. Kirsh completed her pre-doctoral internship training at The Hospital for Sick Children (2005) where she concentrated on: research on adolescents with eating disorders, assessment and treatment of anxiety, and psychoeducational assessments for children with learning disabilities/ADHD. Dr. Kirsh completed a post-doctoral internship at The Hospital for Sick Children, where she conducted research and community outreach in the area of eating disorders prevention. Dr. Kirsh also worked in the Eating Disorders Program and the Anxiety Treatment and Research Centre at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Hamilton.
