Dr. Katie Zhu is a psychiatrist in Toronto who will be completing her 2-year Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship at The University of Toronto in July 2019.
Dr. Zhu completed her general adult psychiatry training at The University of Toronto and obtained her medical degree from The University of British Columbia.
Dr. Zhu has experience treating children, adolescents, and families in a variety of settings, including specialized assessment clinics, general outpatient clinics, and hospital inpatient units. She has trained at various hospitals in the GTA, including Michael Garron Hospital (formerly Toronto East General Hospital), The Hospital for Sick Children and CAMH. She has also trained at BC Children’s Hospital and in the Yukon.
Dr. Zhu has clinical interests in ADHD, Mood and Anxiety Disorders, Trauma, and psychotherapy (especially play-based therapies and CBT).
