Child, Adolescent & Young Adult Mental Health Services

Whole Heart Mental Health & Wellness offers OHIP-covered consultation services and private multidisciplinary mental health and wellness services for children, teens, young adults, and families.

OHIP Psychiatry Consultation Services

Referral-based consultation services for anxiety, depression, OCD, trauma-related symptoms, ADHD, emotional/behavioural concerns, and related mental health concerns.

Includes Child & Youth Psychiatry consultation (under 23) and the Family Physician ADHD Clinic (age 13 and under, when appropriate).

Private NP ADHD & Mental Health Services

Virtual ADHD and mental health assessment services for children, teens, and adults.

May include ADHD assessment, executive functioning concerns, emotional regulation, anxiety, mood concerns, medication consultation, and ongoing ADHD medication support. No referral required.

Private Therapy & Wellness Services

Services may include individual therapy, child & youth therapy, family therapy, parent coaching, executive functioning support, occupational therapy, psychoeducational assessment, academic support, nutrition services, and pharmacy consultation.

Private services are not covered by OHIP but may be covered in full or in part through extended health benefits or insurance plans.

Important Eligibility Information

• Patient must be physically located in Ontario at the time of the appointment.

• This is not an urgent or crisis service.

• Services are not provided for court, custody, disability, insurance, workplace, or other medico-legal purposes.

• We generally do not provide treatment for active psychosis, bipolar disorder, active substance use disorders, or eating disorders requiring specialized programs.

• For patients under 18, all legal guardians must be aware of and consent to this request.
