  • Patient must be physically located in Ontario at the time of the appointment.
  • This is not an urgent or crisis service. Call 911, attend the nearest emergency department, or contact 988 if in crisis.
  • Services are not provided for court, custody, disability, insurance, workplace, or medico-legal purposes.
  • We cannot provide treatment for active psychosis, bipolar disorder, active substance use disorders, or eating disorders.
  • Our psychiatrist provides one consultation, and needs a referral from the MD/NP and cannot assess ADHD.

Adult Psychiatry & Private NP Pathways

OHIP Adult Psychiatry Consultation (Age 23+)

Referral required. Consultation-based psychiatric assessment for concerns such as anxiety, depression, OCD, trauma-related symptoms, and emotional difficulties. Adult OHIP Psychiatry does not provide ADHD assessments or ongoing psychotherapy.

Private NP ADHD & Mental Health Assessment

Virtual private assessment for ADHD, attention/focus concerns, executive functioning difficulties, and broader mental health concerns. No referral required. Approximate cost: $1000.

Private Therapy & Wellness Services

Therapy, counselling, and wellness services are privately billed and are not covered by OHIP. Fees may be covered in full or in part through extended health benefits or insurance plans.
