Nurse Practitioner Consultation and Medication Follow up
Bridget Doan and Janet Gu are Paediatric Nurse Practitioners specializing in child and adolescent mental health. As a Nurse Practitioner, they can diagnose common psychiatric conditions, order and manage medication, and provide psychotherapy.
Both Bridget and Janet have experience working with children, adolescents, and their families, including those struggling with anxiety, obsessions and compulsions, gender diversity, attention deficit/hyperactivity, and depression.
Bridget has additional expertise in treating pediatric sleep disorders.
Common reasons for referral include symptoms of ADHD, anxiety, depression, OCD, and sleep difficulties.
Inclusion: Client ages 6-22 yo; guardian must be present at initial assessment unless previously arranged.
Description:
Includes virtual meeting with client and guardian for 1.5 hours
Review of referral and client/family concerns and goals
Review of Mental health Questionnaires
Review of Report cards if applicable
Follow up Feedback during session including diagnoses and medication and therapy recommendations as appropriate
Written report to be sent to Primary Care Provider (on request)
RATES:
Initial Pediatric Nurse Practitioner Consultation ** Referral not required for private option
90 minutes – $400
Nurse Practitioner Medication and Psychotherapy Appointments*
30 minutes – $100
45 minutes – $150
60 minutes – $200
*This includes prescription renewal
Calls with parents/schools/allied health/camps etc are charged at the same rates.
Letter and form completion is charged based on time spent using the above rates.
